Increase your knowledge of international sanctions to improve your risk management in this area.

The first part of the training presents the specific elements of US sanctions such as sectoral sanctions, primary and secondary sanctions. The training explains the difference between primary and secondary sanctions based on examples.

The second part of the course focuses on the sanctions against Russia and Belarus. Based on the Federal Council's ordinance on this subject, the course presents the difficulties posed by the application of Swiss and European sanctions while issuing all the checks based on listing clients and identifying products and services. Examples are presented to illustrate and trigger a greater awareness of the Relationship Manager.

The training ends with the organisational and control measures implemented within the bank in the context of the sanctions against Russia and Belarus.
