The training begins with the client classification according to FinSA and its purpose, including the client’s declaration to opt out or to opt in.

The second part of the training explains the rules of conduct the Relationship Manager must comply with while providing financial services. The training focuses on the duty of information, at the beginning or during business relationships be in an execution-only mandate, advisory mandate, or discretionary mandate.

Emphasis is placed on the appropriateness and suitability tests on financial services as well as the Relationship Manager’s duty to document and duty of accountability while providing services agreed by the clients.
