Politically Exposed Persons (PEP)

In a few words

Learn how to analyse and manage the risks of doing business with politically exposed persons (PEPs).

The training first presents the different groups of PEPs in order to know the elements that characterise PEPs whether they are foreign, Swiss or within an international organisation.

The training explains the importance of detecting PEPs’ relatives involved in a business relationship. The course then discusses risk management of PEP business relationships, the difference between foreign PEPs and other PEP groups and additional requirements in analysing PEP transactions.

The training ends with concrete situations of corruption by PEPs, explaining the mechanisms used to hide the true beneficial owner.
