Understand CRS essential concepts to enable you to exercise the required due diligence, be a bank account involving an individual or a legal entity.

The training is divided into two modules. The first module is an introduction presenting the aim and the CRS regime pointing out the financial institutions’ obligations. The training continues with the method applied to reportable persons as well as residency for tax purposes. The module ends with the presentation of general due diligence procedures applicable to individual accounts including the index reconciliation procedure.

The second module focuses on the classification of financial and non-financial institutions as well as the concept of controlling person. The module then explains the documentary obligations of natural persons and entities as well as the effect of changing circumstances. The training ends with the requested information in the declaration.
