The course begins by defining greenwashing and the associated risks when sustainability claims are not properly substantiated. It also looks at how to communicate environmental performance in a positive way.

The second part of the course presents several examples of action taken by regulators to combat greenwashing, and then focuses on FINMA communication 05/2021 on preventing greenwashing.

The course ends by explaining the required questions while presenting an investment product to avoid the Greenwashing risk, and how to set up a solid ESG communication.
